The Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery, in conjunction with the medical center’s Colon Cancer Prevention Center, observes National Colon Cancer Awareness Month each May with a variety of activities designed to educate the public on ways to minimize the occurrence of colon cancer through diet, cancer prevention screenings and other programs.
