The Public Relations Department at Hackensack University Medical Center produces several publications for the community throughout the year that detail medical center programs and physicians, in addition to providing general health information.
Among the materials produced each year are: informational brochures; internal departmental newsletters; and community newsletters/newspapers.
• The Annual / Quarterly Report - The medical center publishes an Annual Report each year for the community. Over the years, the annual report has received local and national awards for content and style.
Web users can download past reports from the medical center's "Homepage."
The medical center also maintains a four-page quarterly report insert into the magazines: Time; Newsweek; U.S. & World Report; and Sports Illustrated.
This four-page color piece often highlights some of the new programs; building campaigns; clinical trials; medical and dental staff highlights; and other special events held throughout the year at HUMC.
SPEAKERS BUREAU
As a service to the communities it serves, the Department of Public Relations provides speakers to the public on a variety of topics.
Physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals are available to speak about medical center programs as well as general medical topics to community and civic organizations.
All those requesting a speaker must fill out a registration form and return it to the Department of Public Relations well in advance of the requested date.

on the TV viewing section of The Record
and The Herald News.

The main number is 201-996-2000. The Public Relations Department is on-call 24 hours a day; seven days a week.
