MEDICAL CENTER "IN A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN" AT ANNUAL COLUMBUS DAY PARADE
Hackensack University Medical Center recently participated in the Columbus Day Parade of New Jersey. More than 100 volunteers from the medical center marched alongside colorful floats filled with children of medical center employees, distributing baseball caps to those along the parade route. Pictured is this year's float, which incorporated the theme "In A League of Their Own," celebrating the medical center's recent designation as a state-designated New Jersey Children's Hospital. The parade originated from the Lodi Municipal Plaza and continued through Garfield to the review stand at the Columbus Statue in Dahnerts Lake Park.
