THE INFECTIOUS DISEASE SECTION AT THE MEDICAL CENTER HOLDS CLINICAL TRIAL
The Infectious Disease section of the Department of Internal Medicine and the Institute for Biomedical Research at Hackensack University Medical Center are taking part in a clinical trial to treat a bacterial infection of the bowel. If you have suffered in the last year from diarrhea after taking an antibiotic or have been diagnosed with Clostridium difficile, you may qualify for this trial. Symptoms of Clostridium difficile include diarrhea, abdominal pains or cramps, nausea, and fever.
Participants may receive an investigational drug to treat this bowel infection. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this study. For more information, please call (201) 996-2730.
