Hackensack University Medical Center's Department of Trauma and Injury recently hosted a free safety inspection of child car seats. Dozens of motorists registered for the inspection, which was performed by traffic safety experts working one-on-one with parents to be sure their child's car seat was properly installed. The inspections were performed by representatives from local police departments, the Bergen County Police Department, and the Bergen County Office of Highway Safety.
