CHARITY MOTORCYLE RUN BENEFITS THE JOSEPH M. SANZARI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AT MEDICAL CENTER
Hackensack University Medical Center recently benefited from the third annual “Party Under the Bridge” Motorcycle Run. The run began with registration at Martha Washington Way at the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee. Led by Donna A. Sanzari of Ho-Ho-Kus, founding benefactor of The Donna A. Sanzari Women’s Health Services, Education, Research, and Resource Center at the medical center, the participants departed for Ross’ Dock in Fort Lee. It included a special round-trip across the George Washington Bridge, which was briefly closed to all other traffic for the special occasion. Charity run tickets included the run, food, beverages, and live music by Alec Phillips of “Piano Boogie & Blues Rock & Roll,” along with special guests “Good, Bad, and the Ugly.” Fifty thousand dollars was raised to benefit The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at the medical center.
“ It was our third year riding and this year we had the added thrill of riding across the George Washington Bridge, while raising funds to benefit children’s health. This is a special event – one that Donna and I would not have missed for the world,” said Joseph M. Sanzari of Ho-Ho-Kus, president of Joseph M. Sanzari, Inc. and secretary of the Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors.
Bergen County Harley-Davidson/Buell, Dave Finn Motorcycles, Accurate Cycle, Kosco Harley-Davidson/Buell/Polaris, Indian Motorcycle of Bergen County, Liberty Harley-Davidson & Buell, Legends Harley-Davidson and Wulf Brothers Cycle Werks are the motorcycle shops and dealerships that participated in the run sponsored by the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation and the Nam Knights MC. Additional sponsors included Sanzari Companies, W. Neidinger Service, Inc., Porcelanosa, Don’s Pool Service, Downes Tree Service, Tri-Kid, Inc., Rain Flow Sprinkler System, and Triangle Manufacturing Company, Inc.
