THE AUDREY HEPBURN CHILDREN’S HOUSE BENEFITS FROM THIRD ANNUAL NEIMAN MARCUS FASHION SHOW


The Audrey Hepburn Children’s House at Hackensack University Medical Center recently benefited from the third annual fashion show hosted by the Children’s House branch of The Auxiliary at Neiman Marcus at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus. The evening event, dubbed Viva La Diva, showcased unique clothing from designers including DKNY, Anne Klein, Dana Buchman, St. John, Marc Jacobs, Moncler, Carmen Marc Vavlo, and others. A full dinner at The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus was included in the ticket price. Personal shopper Sonia Minetti-Sengos was on hand to assist shoppers. More than 120 attendees enjoyed wine while viewing the collection and Neiman Marcus gift certificates were raffled off. 

In 2002, the medical center dedicated the world’s first Audrey Hepburn Children’s House. A division of the Department of Pediatrics and The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at the medical center, The Audrey Hepburn Children’s House is a state-designated Regional Diagnostic Center for Child Abuse and Neglect. This new three-story home uses a multi-disciplinary approach to investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of child abuse, through collaboration with other child protection agencies. Treating more than 300 children annually the house was previously located in a converted residence adjacent to the medical center.
