THE DUMONT BOARD OF HEALTH PROVIDES HEALTH CENTERS THAT ARE OPEN TO ALL COMMUNITY RESIDENTS


The Health Awareness Regional Program (HARP) of Hackensack University Medical Center, in conjunction with the Dumont Health Department, offers health consultation to adult borough residents. Adult health consultations are held on the second and fourth Mondays of every month from 9 a.m. to noon in the Dumont Borough Hall at 50 Washington Avenue. 

Services include blood pressure screening, nutrition counseling, review of medication and side effects and answers to health questions or concerns. For more information call the Dumont Health Department at 201-387-5029.

The Health Awareness Regional Program (HARP) of Hackensack University Medical Center in conjunction with the Dumont Board of Health also holds the Dumont Child Health Conference Wednesdays from 8 to 10 a.m. at Dumont Borough Hall. Well baby care is provided by a pediatrician and a public health nurse and includes physical examinations and immunizations. Immunizations are also provided for school age children.
