| SETON HALL UNIVERSITY AND MEDICAL CENTER PLAN TO OFFER GRADUATE COURSES IN HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION Hackensack University Medical Center and Seton Hall University are joining in a new partnership to offer graduate courses in Healthcare Administration. Classes will begin September 8 and will be held Mondays from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. in The David Joseph Jurist Research Center for Tomorrows Children on the campus of Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack. “We are very excited to be offering this program with Hackensack University Medical Center,” said Naomi Wish, chair, Graduate Department of Public and Healthcare Administration at Seton Hall University. “Employees of the medical center, as well as the community-at-large can now take advantage of this offer.” These courses are part of the Master’s in Healthcare Administration, which consists of core competencies in the following areas: strategic leadership, managing change, financial management, and decision-making. The degree program is fully accredited by the National association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration and requires completion of 39 credits. The usual fee for tuition is $675 per credit, or $2025 per course. Because the courses offered at the medical center are considered satellite courses, a 40 percent discount is offered, lowering the cost of tuition to $405 per credit or $1,215 per course. For information on the Master’s in Healthcare Administration degree or certificate program, as well as application procedures, please call Mr. James Boyle at Seton Hall University at (973) 761-9510. |
