BERGEN COUNCIL OF HADASSAH AND HACKENSACK UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER HOST SPEAKER FROM ISRAEL’S HADASSAH HOSPITAL Rita Avramov to Speak as Part of Hadassah’s Mediscope 2003 Program In Palm Court of the Medical Center The Bergen Council of Hadassah in conjunction with Hackensack University Medical Center will present Hadassah’s Mediscope 2003 program Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m. in the Palm Court of Hackensack University Medical Plaza, 20 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack. The evening will feature Rita Avramov, director of Social Services for Hadassah Hospital in Israel. The program is free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served. Ms. Avramov will speak about the role of social services in helping those who have been victims of terrorist attacks. A graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ms. Avramov received her MPH from the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem. Hadassah is the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. With more than 300,000 members nationwide, Hadassah programs include promoting health education, social action and advocacy, Jewish education and research, volunteerism and forging partnerships with Israel. |
