THE DIABETES CENTER VISITS GREENMARKET CAFÉ TO PROVIDE ‘LIVING WITH DIABETES – A HEALTHY DIET’ EVENING

Natalie Cannady, B.S., R.D. of Lodi, a therapeutic dietician at The Diabetes Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, recently conducted a lecture “Living with Diabetes – A Healthy Diet” at the Greenmarket Café, located in Ho-Ho-Kus. The community seminar was directed to individuals with diabetes and their families. The Diabetes Center at the medical center is one of a handful of International Diabetes Centers affiliates in the northeast. The center’s goal is to help individuals become educated and motivated partners in managing their diabetes through providing professional support.
