Drumming Circle — a Native American tradition that has a universal language of its own, a language that symbolizes the heartbeat. Group drumming connects the group together. In many cultures, the drumbeat symbolizes joining and is an opportunity for minds and hearts to synchronize with one another.

Feng Shui — (pronounced fung shway) a 4000-year old Chinese Philosophy of understanding the relationship between humans and their environment. Based on the belief that natural elements and electromagnetic energy affect the quality of people's lives, this ancient art of placement brings harmony with these forces in order to maximize health. This practice is known as geomancy, the art of placement. Feng Shui is based on the Taoist philosophies of nature - literally means wind (Feng) and water (Shui) and is utilized to help individuals improve sleep, resolve conflict, increase productivity, and feel more energized in life.

Guided Imagery — a technique that empowers the mind to distance itself from stress-producing situations such as illness, career or other daily activities.

Hypnotherapy — a relaxed meditative state that allows the subconscious mind to remain awake and receptive to suggestion. When given a new suggestion, the subconscious mind accepts it and acts upon it. Hypnosis is designed to lessen anxiety, enhance relaxation, reduce pain, and strengthen the immune system. It is an effective way to make lifestyle changes for health and well-being. This therapy is used for weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety, fears, phobias, self-improvement, and personal motivation.

Pilates a unique exercise that combines diaphragmatic breathing with a mind-body focus on spine alignment and musculoskeletal balance. Reflexology — a natural healing art that uses massage of the feet to bring the body into balance. It is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet that correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body. Gentle pressure is applied to corresponding reflex zones on the feet to relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.

Reiki — Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word (Rei means universal and Ki means life force). This form of energy healing uses the “laying on of hands,” meaning that the practitioner simply rests his or her hands directly on key locations of your body, applying little or no pressure. The intention behind this energy transfer is to open one’s healing channels. Reiki relaxes and de-stresses as a flow of subtle energy promotes healing on all levels.

Tai Chi / Qigong — a Chinese martial art form of meditation and movement combining mental concentration, coordinated breathing, and a series of slow, graceful body movements. Tai Chi may be practiced for meditative and/or health purposes.
